Method

We move
by proof.

We start with the use. We can join a team that already exists. The full path ends when we build it.

01

Listen

The problem, stated clearly enough that it can be disagreed with.

  • The real use, not only the imagined solution
  • The constraints already known: place, energy, cost, deadline
  • We say back what we understood

02

Frame

A clear direction, and the way toward it.

  • What we will build
  • An architecture, and what has to hold
  • The standard that applies, named here
  • What we do first

03

Prototype

The smallest thing that answers the question.

  • It works for real
  • We build to decide, not to impress
  • Paths we can manufacture

04

Validate

Measurements replace impressions.

  • We check what was supposed to be true
  • We correct, we change direction, or we stop
  • We write down what was decided

05

Production

We build it. We hold the design.

  • The file belongs to you: schematics, software, bill of materials
  • We build it in Lévis
  • The corrections happen in the same shop

How it starts

You describe the idea and where it stands. We propose a first stage, with a precise output.

What we need from you

  • The use, even if it is still fuzzy
  • The constraints you already know
  • What exists: drawings, prototypes, code, or nothing
  • Who decides

Straight questions

Do you work with a solo inventor?

Yes. Solo or in an organization, we start the same way.

Can you join a team that already exists?

Yes. A studio, a smaller company, an internal team. We take the hardware, or the full path.

Do we need drawings to start?

No. An intention is enough. If you already have drawings, we start there.

How far do you go?

Through to production, when that is the mandate. We build it in Lévis. We hold the design and the corrections. A mandate can also be a single stage.

Who owns the file?

You do. Schematics, software, bill of materials. We hold it through to production, then it stays with you, up to date.

What if a standard applies?

It is named when we frame the work. Electrical safety, radio, or another. We do not discover it when manufacturing starts.

What if the proof does not hold?

We correct, we change direction, or we stop. The file says what was decided.

What about confidentiality?

A first conversation does not need the sensitive details. We talk about that first.

Who does the work?

The laboratory team, in Lévis. You talk to the people doing the work.

Do we have to be in Québec?

No. We are in Lévis, at 956, chemin Olivier. We meet here, or remotely.
